THE STORY

Swany bag developer, Etsuo Miyoshi developed a slight limp in his right leg after struggling with polio during his childhood. This made him particularly sensitive to the strains of everyday life. As a businessman who frequently travels, he found it particularly difficult to drag heavy luggage through airports and hotels. And so in 1994, Swany developed a game-changing kind of luggage, one that you can roll smoothly in any direction and that you can lean on (like a crane) instead of dragging. Through the years, Swany released several variations, one of which includes a retractable seat.
